The space
Located in one of Florence’s most iconic areas, this exclusive apartment is on the top floor of the historic building that once housed the Alinari Photographic Archive, the oldest in the world.
Recently renovated and inaugurated in September 2025, the apartment was designed to offer maximum comfort in an elegant and refined setting.
The property’s key feature, despite being centrally located, is its incredibly quiet and peaceful setting, a true oasis of peace, nestled within a private internal courtyard overlooking a green and secluded garden. No traffic noise, just peace and comfort, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or working.
The entrance opens into a bright living room, furnished with contemporary taste and details inspired by Florentine tradition. The living area features a comfortable sofa bed, a smart TV, and direct access to one of the two terraces, perfect for al fresco breakfasts or sunset aperitifs.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes an oven, induction stovetop, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle, as well as everything you need for home cooking.
The master bedroom is an oasis of tranquility, featuring a queen-size bed with a high-quality memory foam mattress measuring 160×200 cm, made in Italy, spacious closets, a king-size safe large enough to hold a laptop, and access to a second private terrace with spectacular views of the Medici Chapels and Giotto’s Bell Tower.
The modern bathroom, with a glass shower and high-quality finishes, is equipped with a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and soft towels.
A selection of authentic objects related to the history of the former Alinari Photographic Archives enhances the apartment’s atmosphere: vintage cameras, themed books, and original archive photographs on the walls pay homage to this unique place.

We try to answer some questions you might usually ask before staying in our Suites.
Keys must be handed over in person. Due to a recent Italian regulation, we are required to meet guests to hand over the keys and perform identification.
We will therefore ask you to show us again the ID you have already uploaded to our portal.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee check-in after the time indicated for each apartment.
All our apartments are available from 3:00 PM. Before this time, we have a cleaning and sanitization service, as well as organizing any maintenance, so early check-in is not possible.
For any changes to the length of your stay, please contact us by phone or email and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. We cannot offer refunds for early departures.
No pets of any kind are allowed in any of our apartments, except guide dogs or other service animals.
We can provide up to two cribs per apartment. This request can be made at the time of booking and confirmed during online check-in by paying the service fee.
The apartments are equipped with sanitized and certified bed linens and towels.
For stays longer than 30 days, linens will not be provided. You can bring your own, or we can rent them.
