Who I am
I'm a traveler before I'm a host.
My name is Alessio, i’ve spent many years backpacking the world, especially in Latin America—Mexico, Costa Rica, Santo Domingo, Venezuela, Brazil—and then in Asia, from Bali to Thailand, and even Africa: Kenya, Zanzibar, Mauritius, ending up where I return every year, in Cape Town, to pursue my greatest passion: kitesurfing amid the wind and ocean waves.
But I’ve also explored my native Italy in depth: by bike, mountain bike, train, and car. I know it really well, from the big cities to the most hidden villages, and this allows me to give my guests authentic and personal advice.
I love sports, snowboarding, and all those activities that bring people together and create authentic connections. Traveling has taught me what makes a place truly special: feeling welcomed, free, and inspired.
My career focuses on men’s fashion, but in the apartments I offer, I’ve tried to create what I myself seek when I travel: thoughtfully curated and authentic spaces where comfort blends with the soul of the place. Here in Florence, this means respect for tradition, beauty, and the lifestyle that makes this city unique.
For me, welcoming guests isn’t just hospitality: it’s sharing a way of experiencing travel.
